My first Sinful on the blog!

This shows how out of control my unswatched stash is - I bought a number of Sinfuls in the USA when they weren't available in the UK.  I think at least 7 or 8 years ago, maybe when I spent 3 weeks in Boston writing a technical book.

I found a swatch of this polish from 2009 so it's at least that old - eeek!  But of course proof, as if any of you nail obsessives need it it, that you don't need to throw polish out after a year or two!

And of course now you can get Sinful easily in the UK from Boots and Superdrug!

Cabana is a pretty but not particularly unique rose pink creme.  It's slightly dusky and warmer, more coral looking in sunlight.

Application was good and swatches are 2 coats, no top coat.

Apologies readers, I didn't mean to let a month go by but I was on holibobs in Florida for 2 weeks and then straight back into a full-on work project.

So I'm kicking off with my not very big haul from Florida.  I was on holiday with my family (husband and 3 teenage step-kids) so there wasn't much time for shopping, it was mostly theme parks, segways, Kennedy Space Center, airboat rides and gun ranges...

I did manage to get to Sallys, Ulta, CVS, TJ Maxx and Walgreens but actually didn't buy too much nail polish....

First up the bases & tops...

Read good things about this 'daylight' cured top coat.

Bonder is a repeat buy basic for me but I've never tried Gelous or Poshe before -they seem harder to find in the UK

These mini Seche Vite's were only $1.25 in Sally so I bought 8!  They're handy for travel and don't have time to go gloopy!

And some colour polishes...

Nite Owl - I love my taupes and this one has an interesting silver shimmer running through it.

Another first - SpaRitual - never seen these IRL in the UK.  And a Zoya glitter.  And somewhere there's another SpaRitual and Zoya, but they'd gone walkabout when I took the pics.

I know these are in Boots in the UK but they're cheaper in the US

And a freebie Revlon - I found this under the drawer unit in the villa we rented...!

So not a massive haul.  Maybe because I know how much unswatched I have at a home I managed to restrain myself....  Now I just need some spare time and reasonable length nails to get on with some swatching...!

Lovely Zoyas from the recent Zoya '3-free' promotion. Unfortunately those deals only run in the US so my lovely friend Carl who lives in New Hampshire acts as my delivery address and nail polish mule!  So these come courtesy of Carl who got them as far as Orlando and then my Frolleague, Tim, who bought them back to the UK.  Thanks guys!




I also picked up a few (ahem) of the Andrea Fulerton Trios from Superdrug just before Christmas when they were 3 for 2. Don't they look pretty all lined up!
