Topshop - Moonstone
Silvery pearl with fine silver glitter
The last polish I picked up from the Sisters of the New Moon collection is Moonstone
Swatch shown is 3 coats with no top coat and I still have some vague vnl although I think vnl is more forgiveable with paler colours...
Moonstone is a silvery white pearl with scattered super fine silver glitter/shimmer, most visible in the sunlight pictures.
It's not really my cup of tea but is pretty...

Topshop - Hypnotic
Lilac/green duochrome
Next from the Sisters of the New Moon Collection is Hypnotic, beware I took a lot of pics to capture the gorgeousness of this duochrome beauty...
Isn't it just stunning?
Swatches are 3 coats with no top coat.
Hypnotic is a pale silvery lilac/green, almost foily duochrome with tiny silver sparkles. The glitter sparkles can make the finish look mildy gritty/lumpy.
I really like this one, it reminds me a bit of one of my first Chanel polishes, Fluorine, although that had less of a foil finish and no sparkles. I'd almost forgotten I had that Chanel till I took these photos, must get it swatched!

Topshop - Zodiac
Pewter with a greeny gold foil finish
Earlier this year, around February time, Topshop released a new collection called Sisters of the New Moon with a mystical/fantastical theme. The bottles have black overprinting on the lids
I picked up 3 of the nail polishes which IIRC were £6.50, slightly more than regular Topshop polishes I think..
On with the polish, first up is Zodiac...
How to describe Zodiac? The easiest way would be to say it's pretty good dupe for Chanel Graphite!
Kristy from the Polish Haven did a comparison post and I think it's fair to say they're dupes!
TopShop describe this as a multi-tonal metallic which while true isn't massively helpful... I'd say it was a Pewter with a greeny gold foil finish
Swatch is 3 coats to full depth with no top coat.
These should still be available from Topshop.

Nails Inc - Regents Place
Baby pink creme with secret shimmer
Another Nails Inc Pink and an unexpected win
Regent's Place, not to be confused with Regent's Palace which is a deep purple, is a baby pink creme with secret shimmer.
You can see the shimmer slightly better in the bottle than on the nail but it's definitely there all the time, not just in sunlight.
And it's the shimmer that makes this polish. It is a little stark & chalky but the pale pink secret shimmer softens the colour and makes it all forgiveable!
Swatch shown is 2 coats, without top coat.
This is not a colour I'd usually go for but I actually like it on....
What do you think, win or fail?
And what about nails inc and their similar polish names? And don't get me started on them reusing polish names for new colours- it should be outlawed I tell you!

Nails Inc - Montrose Place
Fuchsia Pink Shimmer
Next in the pinks is Montrose Place...
Montrose Place is a fuchsia pink shimmer with a a purple flash.
It's nothing unique, I'm sure you all have several of these in your stash?
I seem to have at least four of this type of colour/finish just in my nails inc collection (Pacha Pink, Sloane St, China Town and Montrose Place!) Although they do all look slightly different from each other!
Swatch shown is 3 coats with no top coat.

Nails Inc - Great Windmill Street
Soft muted pink creme
Next in the pinks is Great Windmill Street
Great Windmill Street is a soft muted pink creme that has a slightly jelly/squishy finish and was also a little streaky, which took 3 coats to even out and you can still see a hint of vnl in the pics
This reminds me of a Zoya polish, Piper? although I think that may have been more milky and opaque.
I like it but wish it wasn't a 3-coater...

Nails Inc - Dorset Mews
Bubblegum pink creme
Another pink from nails inc!
This one is Dorset Mews
I'd say Dorset Mews was a slightly lilac leaning baby or bubblegum pink creme that's super shiny. It's quite cool toned
Swatch shown is 2 coats with no top coat. Application was great as always, nails inc really know what they're doing when it comes to cremes....

Nails Inc - Festival Pier
Bright neon leaning creme
At the moment my nails are broken and general stubby, I had a really low break on my index finger and it's going to take a while to grow back
So in the meantime I've got *loads* of older swatches to show you including some from the slow and ongoing project to swatch all my nails inc!
First up some pinks - and heading up the pinks is Festival Pier
It's a super bright, almost neon pink creme
Swatch shown is 2 coats, application was fab
Festival Pier is an older nails inc and I don't think it's a currently available colour which is a shame because it's gorgeous!
