OPI - Suzi's Hungary Again

Another mini bottle, this time an OPI.


Suzi's Hungary Again is a coral creme.

And if you look really closely in the last full sun picture (click to enlarge) there are tiny, sparse silvery microsparkles in there too.  Although really too small and sparse to be of much interest...

For me this took 3 coats to be opaque

OPI - You're Such A Budapest

Lilac creme with secret sparkles  

Continuing the Spring-like colours (we even have sunshine in the my part of the UK today, even if the temperatures are still Arctic!)

You're Such a Budapest is from the Euro Centrale collection.  My lovely friend Kristy bought me the mini set for my Birthday last month.

You're Such a Budapest is at first glance a pretty lilac creme, but look a little closer and there are fine silvery microsparkles in there too.

Swatch shown is 3 coats, I couldn't get this to level on my nails.  I don't usually have problems with mini bottles/brushes as I have tiny hands/nails but perhaps that was the issue?

Butter London - Dosh

Green sparkly shimmer  

This is the last in this run of Butter London swatches - Dosh

Dosh is yellow toned apple green with fine foily shimmer.  The shimmer is predominately gold but I also detected some some silver and green shimmer.

Although I don't usually have trouble photographing  greens I'd say this polish is a smidge  more yellowy/olive toned IRL than it shows in my pics.  Click the pics to see them in close up.

Swatch show is with 3 coats and no top coat.  Application was great.

Dosh is British slang for money and our £1 banknotes used to be green (now we just have coins for £1) and of course I saved a load of dosh buying these BL's on a sale site!

Nails Inc - Harrington Road

Deep green shimmer


Sorry for the gap in posting, I've been away on a family holiday with the lovely man and the kids.  A fun, but not very relaxing, week in Center Parcs, Elveden.

And everything was so rushed before the hols (isn't it always?!) that I didn't have time to create any scheduled posts - bad blogger...


To ease me back into this blogging lark, here's a lovely green polish from my favourite brand, nails inc

Harrington Road is a deep green with lots of nicely visible micro sparkly shimmer.  I was debating whether to describe it as shimmer or glitter but either way, it's fine and you can see the individual particles.  Don't think it's massively unique but lovely all the same.

Application was great, I do find nails inc don't quite nail shimmers in the same way they do cremes but nothing to complain about here.

The swatch is 2 coats with no top coat and this is pretty shiny without top coat, not always true for a shimmer...
