Smokey lilac creme
Most people would probably think of Delphiniums as blue and I think that is the more common colour but the colour range of the flowers can go all the way to this subtle lilac.
Swatch shown is 2 coats, no top coat. The formula was ok but unfortunately for me and my tiny nails the Sally Hansen polish has a big fat/flat brush - I just about made it work but grrrgghhh....

GOSH - Prima Donna
Orange/rust with pink shimmer
The last of my GOSH Special Editions (I think there was also a dusky green in this collection but it was sold out)
Swatch shown is 2 coats with no top coat and great application.
Surprised that this actually looks ok with my skintone
Again a slightly unusual colour - well done to GOSH for doing something a bit different with these Special Editions.

GOSH - Boot Camp
Sludgy khaki shimmer
Another GOSH Special Edition, Boot Camp is an interesting sludgy, brown leaning khaki shimmer.
Application was great, swatch shown is 2 coats with no top coat.
This is definitely a bit of a fugly colour but I like it and I think it's pretty unique
And apologies for the gunk on the bottle, unfortunately most of the GOSH bottles in Superdrug get plastered with those immensely irritating 'security' stickers and this one just wouldn't come off cleanly

GOSH - Bright Idea
Cream pearl
I picked up a handful of GOSH Special Editions recently and I'm happy with all of them. I can't recall if there was a name or theme for these....
First up is Bright Idea....
Bright Idea is a predominately a cream pearl with a hint of something else, I'd say there's a bit of grey and maybe a bit of pink. It makes it a bit unusual.
Application was good, the formula is always good with GOSH and I like the brush.
Swatch is 2 coats, no top coat

Nailgirls - Silver #2
Silver foil
I'm not really a fan of these non-names but you have to admit that Silver pretty much cover this one!
Silver #2 is a very foily silver foil. So foily that my camera wouldn't focus on my nails in some of the shots.
It's got an almost cheesy sci-fi feel to it, like you'd have to pair it with a tin foil jumpsuit and a ray gun!
Application was fine and the swatch is 2 coats, no top coat

Nailgirls - Red #1
Bright red creme
Another polish from Nailgirls, the UK brand I first talked about here
Red #1 is a super bright, super shiny slightly coral leaning red creme.
Swatch shown is 2 coats with no top coat and is nicely opaque for a red.
Application was good. It's obviously not unique but it's great red!

Revlon - Blue Slate
Blue/grey creme
This is one of those polishes that does what it says on the bottle, Revlon Blue Slate which is a slate blue creme!
It's from the new-ish Revlon Colorstay range available in the UK from Boots. I picked up a handful of these (3 for 2) about 6 months ago and so far I've been impressed with the polish, if not the brush.
Unfortunately (for me as I know lots of others love them) these come with a wide flat brush. It's not super huge but still a little unwieldy for my tiny nails. Thankfully the formula more than makes up for it - this is a highly pigmented one-coat wonder. This is also one of those polish formula that has almost an enamel type finish.
The bottles are also different from the classic triangle shaped Revlon bottles, makes them look more modern to me.
I didn't test the 'Colorstay' of these polishes though - anyone else have any comments as to their longevity?

OPI - You're Such A Budapest
Lilac creme with secret sparkles
Continuing the Spring-like colours (we even have sunshine in the my part of the UK today, even if the temperatures are still Arctic!)
Continuing the Spring-like colours (we even have sunshine in the my part of the UK today, even if the temperatures are still Arctic!)
You're Such a Budapest is from the Euro Centrale collection. My lovely friend Kristy bought me the mini set for my Birthday last month.
You're Such a Budapest is at first glance a pretty lilac creme, but look a little closer and there are fine silvery microsparkles in there too.
Swatch shown is 3 coats, I couldn't get this to level on my nails. I don't usually have problems with mini bottles/brushes as I have tiny hands/nails but perhaps that was the issue?
